As we may have said before, using
Active Update is a doddle. Once it is set up, we will give
you a Username and Password and simply tell you how to log in.
From then on, all you have to do from ANY internet computer
anywhere, is this:
- Go to your web site
- Log in to your Control Panel with the Username and Password
- From a simple drop-down list, select the page you wish to edit
- Make whatever changes you like to the page content
- Click the Save button
- Log out
If you have other pages (or sections with
a page) that require updating such as Product details, News items,
calendars and so on, then there will be buttons in the Control Panel
to take you to the updating screens for those sections.
And that's all there is
to it!
Because it is all done within your own site, the changes are immediate.
The next person to go to your web site will see the changes you have
made. And if you simply refresh your browser you will see them as
well.
